Document Requirements Overview

The standard documentation packet we collect from applicants.

One packet, tuned to each program

We collect documentation from applicants through a secure token-based upload portal that opens automatically after intake. Which documents are requested depends on the segment the applicant lands in — a startup business file gets a different packet than a prime consumer file — and the specific stipulations of the lender the file is routed to.

Standard applicant packet

Every applicant provides: government-issued photo ID (driver's license or state ID), a completed application (already captured during intake), and — if a specific trailer is identified — a copy of the invoice or listing.

Business applicant additions

Business-purpose files add: entity information (name, EIN, formation state), the last three months of business bank statements, and — for tickets over $50k or at the lender's request — a personal financial statement and one or two years of business tax returns. Any owner with 20% or greater equity provides a personal guaranty with the same ID and personal financial data.

Startup business additions

Startup files (under two years in business) universally require three months of business bank statements, and often add a personal financial statement, personal tax return, and — for higher tickets — evidence of a down payment source.

Consumer applicant packet

Consumer files add: proof of income (two most recent pay stubs or two months of personal bank statements for self-employed borrowers), proof of residence if not on the ID, and — for higher-ticket units — proof of insurance to be added at delivery.

Private-party additions

Private-party purchases add: seller identification, seller title, a structured photo inspection packet of the trailer, and — if applicable — a payoff letter from the seller's existing lienholder.

How lenders receive the packet

The completed packet is delivered as a single PDF plus structured JSON to your intake address or portal. Missing or non-compliant documents are chased by our team, not by you — you review a complete file, not a partial one.
